Goldstone offers a student field trip program that strives to meet California state standards

Would you like to see an antenna dish almost as big as a football field? Did you know that the antennas of NASA’s Deep Space Network communicate with spacecraft exploring the solar system far beyond our moon?  You can bring your students to see these huge antennas at the Goldstone Deep Space Communications Complex and learn how we capture the tiny Radio signals from billions of miles away. Your students will have the opportunity to learn about all of the current missions supported by Goldstone while touring our museum. This is followed by a tour of the complex.  Contact Leslie Cunkelman at gdscc.tours@jpl.nasa.gov or (760) 255-8688 for more information and to schedule your visit.
